Paradise - A Definition : The Western Gate to the Sunshine State
where thousands live the way millions wished they could!* Welcome
to North West Florida - Welcome to Paradise! |
The Escambia River Delta area is TOTALLY AWSOME! We at Becks Lake Fish Camp invite you to experience the thrill of access to over 35,000
acres (yes, you read that correctly!) of fishing and naturalist fun by visiting our facility. Becks Lake Fish Camp is set among Live Oaks dripping Spanish Moss on a bayou-river setting of a network of
pristine waterways that are teaming with Bass, Bream, Crappie, and much more! Natural Bayous were enlarged during the Northwest Florida Lumber
Boom of the late 1880's and now the fish flock to this area because of our deep and still waters. Those looking for more adventure and fishing
opportunities have but to motor or paddle a short distance to the Escambia River, the 4th largest river in Florida and considered the best
fishing river by the State. Becks Lake is close to all major area attractions, including Pensacola Beach and the Creek Indian Casino. |

Known by locals as the gateway to the heart of the 35,000 acres of the Escambia River Delta, this is "the" place to embark
on a river "oddessy", fish your little heart out, or just paddle around in the "lake".
We will have over 3 miles of waterfrontage with a boat launch & storage, fishing, group activity areas, a group primitive camping area,
hiking trails, and limited RV sites. A beautiful half mile deep channel connects our "lake" with the Escambia River.
Unlike most boat launch and waterfront areas, the property manager lives and works on-site and you can have more peace
of mind about leaving your vehicle unattended.
It's the perfect place for family outings, boating clubs, Church & Civic groups, and everyone that wants to enjoy Nature at
her finest!
The Boat Launch and Fishing areas are now open. We're working on the picnic and primitive group camp areas
and hope to have them open soon.
Also in the planning are horse riding trails (BYOH), rental boats and a RV Nature & Fishing Resort.
Rules and fee information are located on a board a short distance after you go through the double gates and can be accessed
on-line by these links:
Fish Camp Rules - or - Fish Camp Fees (New reduced price!)
Organized groups can rent an area to have overnight camping, nature classes, afternoon outings, renuions, etc. Email us with a short description of what you need or
call Billy at 850-435-5557.

We need help!
| This wonderful property, and the 35,000 acres of the Escambia River Wildlife
Management Area that adjoins it, is a natural playground for all ages. We're looking for experienced business persons to
join with us to present this area to the public like it should be. RV Park developers/managers, Naturalists, Fishing & hunting guides,
Equestrian businesses, and Fishing tournament directors are a few vocational types that we're seeking.
The high ground around the Boat Launch area is perfect for the establishment of a Fish Camp Commercial Center containing such
establishments as a Hunting & Fishing Lodge, Bed & Breakfast Lodge, and Restaurant with outside fishing deck. We're already
planning a "General Store" and boat rentals in the near future and assistance with that would be considered.
Since we opened at the end of May we've been besieged with requests for RV spots so we're working on the plans for
a RV Nature & Fishing Resort that will also include cabin ownership and rentals.
If you think you can help us in a professional way then we'd like to talk to you. If you're interested then
send me an email to the following link:
