Fishing is GREAT!
Customers are reporting great Bluegill, Bass and Catfish action in the "Lake". Our Bayou has been known by many for
over 50 years as the best fishing spot in Northwest Florida. Bank fishing has been good as well as by boat.
Even if the Century gauge is low, we may not be, and the same goes for high water. The water levels in the lower river don't fluctuate like the upper River.
We're closer to Escambia Bay and get some tidal action but we're still fresh water and old timers tell us we're in the BEST part.

the north, or picnic and fish from a secluded dock and picnic area on the "north Property".

From a few Sows come many porkers! Come pick your next BBQ out and have it prepared by B J Meats. You can be sure that our pork is well fed and drug free.

THE CAMP STORE IS OPEN- Lessie, Billy's wife, has opened the Fish Camp Store and has bait, ice, soft drinks, water, and snacks as well as tackle and poles for sale or rent.
Call 850-375-0383 for the current store hours as it varies by season.
BOAT RENTALS - Due to the high cost of insurance we no longer rent boats.
If you're "boatless" visit one of the stores that sells kayaks, canoes, or Jon Boats and buy one and go fish or explore our beautiful "river" world. It's a great family outdoors get-a-way close to Pensacola.
Fish from the Bank & Dock - The Waterfront "Point Park" has a covered pavillion, grills, and picnic tables for bank fishing and
camping pleasure. A new trailhead and creek fishing parking area will open later in the Spring.
CAMPING - We have some RV sites with hook-ups
as well as primitive campsites, but call ahead as the number is limited. Come spend a weekend, week or month fishing, hiking and
enjoying the bayou and River. Worms, poles, ice, and non alcoholic drinks are available from the "Camp Store".
FARM REPORT - We're using most of the cleared land for pasture for the goats and pigs. We anticipate planting some corn for the pigs and goats and a small vegetable garden this year.
YOUR HORSES ARE WELCOME - We have over 400 acres of roads and trails that, for a $5 fee,
you can ride. You now have access to all of Cottage Hill through the north gate of the "North property". Ask Billy for the key. Have a picnic at a beautiful private
waterfront spot with dock that only hikers and horses and annual passholders are allowed at. Current Coggins papers are required.
Attention active duty Military stationed in Florida! Florida has an annual hunting and fishing pass for only $20!!
It's called a Military Gold Sportsman's pass and it's available from any Escambia or Santa Rosa County tax collector's

Need a Fishing License? Get one by telephone! You can
purchase your license ONLINE
if you're willing to pay a $2.25 + 2.5% surcharge. Alternatively, you may purchase your license
by calling 1-888-FISH-FLORIDA and pay a $3.25 + 2.5% surcharge. Licenses may be purchased without surcharge
at a county tax collector's office or for a small fee at many fishing stores.
No Florida Fishing License is required for fresh water fishing with non-reel pole and natural bait (You must live in Escambia County). We've also opened the north property which has a dock and picnic area accessable by a short hike across the creek. Check with Billy or Lessie for details.

Boom of the late 1880's and now the fish flock to this area because of our deep and still waters. Those looking for more adventure and fishing

Hunters are telling us that we're the perfect spot to use as
"base camp" for duck and other hunting in the Escambia River Wildlife Management Area!
We have over 2 miles of water frontage with a boat launch & storage, fishing, group activity areas, a group primitive camping area,
hiking trails, and limited RV sites. There's over a mile of exceptional water frontage in the "lake" and a beautiful half mile deep channel connects our "lake" with the Escambia River.
Unlike most boat launch and waterfront areas, the property manager lives and works on-site and you can have more peace
of mind about leaving your vehicle unattended.

and everyone that wants to enjoy Nature at her finest! One lady recently went out in the Bayou and was so entralled by the beauty
that she said she almost forgot that she was there to fish!
The Boat Ramp (with access to the Escambia River), Bank Fishing areas, hiking trails,
primitive camp sites and picnic areas are now open. We also have waterfront areas that can be rented for kayak and canoe
cook-outs and similar festivities.
Bring your own boat or fish from the beautiful waterfront park at the end of the road. Either way you can
enjoy the beautiful bayou. We have a small "camp" store selling ice, refreshments, bait, fishing
tackle and snacks.
Don't miss the Farm! Becks Lake Farm is a division of Becks Lake Fish Camp, LLC. and sells produce as well as
