FISHING REPORT - Why waste gas - launch at Becks Fish Camp! Fishing is GREAT!
Customers are still reporting great Bluegill and some Bass and Catfish action in the "Lake". Our Bayou has been known by many for
over 50 years as the best fishing spot in Northwest Florida. Bank fishing has been good as well as by boat.
The lower river and Bayou level is good right now. We don't have the low water that the upper river has becasue we're closer to Escambia Bay and get some tidal action.
Call Billy @ 850-375-0383 for a current report.
BIKE TRAILS - Bikers (non-powered) love our trails. Bring your Mountain Bikes for a great ride. "Escape" to Cottage Hill, a community to the north, or picnic and fish from a secluded dock and picnic area on the "north Property".
GOAT HERD - The Goat herd is growning! Our Nannies had almost 20 "kids" over the past couple of months and they're so cute!
THE CAMP STORE IS OPEN- Lessie, Billy's wife, has opened the Fish Camp Store and has bait, ice, soft drinks, water, and snacks as well as tackle and poles for sale or rent.
Call 850-375-0383 for the current store hours as it varies by season.
BOAT RENTALS - We have a "fleet" of kayaks, row boats and a canoe for rent on our wonderful bayou. If you're "boatless" come rent one from us and go fish or explore our beautiful "river" world.
Fish from the Bank & Dock - The Waterfront "Point Park" has a covered pavillion, grills, and picnic tables for bank fishing and
camping pleasure. A new trailhead and creek fishing parking area will open later in the Spring.
CAMPING - We have some RV sites with hook-ups
as well as primitive campsites, but call ahead as the number is limited. Come spend a weekend, week or month fishing, hiking and
enjoying the bayou and River. Worms, poles, ice, and non alcoholic drinks are available from the "Camp Store".
FARM REPORT - Seeds are in the ground. Hopefully there will be lots of peas, beans, corn, and orkra in a few weeks.
Also, Billy and Lessie are the proud parents of 16 suckling piglets. Two of the Sows gave birth almost at the same time!
HORSES ARE WELCOME - We have over 400 acres of roads and trails that, for a $5 fee,
you can ride. You now have access to all of Cottage Hill through the side gate of the "North property". Ask Billy for the key. Have a picnic at a beautiful private
waterfront spot with dock that only hikers and horses are allowed at. Coggins papers are required.

It's called a Military Gold Sportsman's pass and it's available from any Escambia or Santa Rosa County tax collector's
office. Also, check out the RV's and boats that you can rent from Whiting Fields MWR facility on the
Blackwater River near Milton. Click HERE

Fish, Hunt and Explore the historic Escambia River from Becks Lake Fish Camp! We invite you to
experience a great naturalist area with access to over 35,000 acres of fishing and natural beauty by visiting Becks Lake Fish Camp.
Becks Lake Fish Camp is set among Live Oaks dripping Spanish Moss on a bayou-river setting of a network of
pristine waterways that are teaming with Bass, Bream, Crappie, Bluegill, Shellcracker and much more! Natural Bayous were enlarged during the Northwest Florida Lumber
Boom of the late 1880's and now the fish flock to this area because of our deep and still waters. Those looking for more adventure and fishing
opportunities have but to motor or paddle a short distance to the Escambia River, the 4th largest river in Florida and considered the best
fishing river by the State.
Hunters are telling us that we're the perfect spot to use as
"base camp" for duck and other hunting in the Escambia River Wildlife Management Area!
We have over 2 miles of water frontage with a boat launch & storage, fishing, group activity areas, a group primitive camping area,
hiking trails, and limited RV sites. There's over a mile of exceptional water frontage in the "lake" and a beautiful half mile deep channel connects our "lake" with the Escambia River.
Unlike most boat launch and waterfront areas, the property manager lives and works on-site and you can have more peace
of mind about leaving your vehicle unattended.
Nov 13, 2009. He had a Large Cooler full of Catfish!
Becks Fish Camp is close to all major area attractions, including Pensacola Beach, Historic Downtown Pensacola,
and the Creek Indian Casino just a few miles north in Atmore, AL. It is known by the locals as the gateway to the heart of the 35,000 acres of the Escambia River Delta, this is "the" place to embark
on a river "oddessy", fish your little heart out, or just paddle around in our waterways.
